The Institute for Bible Translation has released a new publication in the Nogai language – the illustrated Children's Bible. Previously published works in this language include: Ruth/Esther/Jonah (2005), the New Testament (2011), Genesis (2016), Gospel Parables (2016), Proverbs (2017), and the Pentateuch (2023).

The new edition contains 250 Bible stories covering events from the Old and New Testament — from the Creation of the world to the Apocalypse. The book is intended for readers of all ages who wish to familiarize themselves with the Bible. It includes both retellings and direct quotations from the Holy Scriptures. Key events and concepts are presented concisely and accessibly, with each story accompanied by a color illustration. The publication includes an appendix with maps, photographs of biblical sites, and an index of references to Scripture passages.

The Nogai language belongs to the Kipchak group of Turkic languages. The Nogai people are spread widely across the North Caucasus and the southern Volga region. The name of the Nogai Steppe — an area of Nogai settlement within Dagestan, Stavropol Krai, and the Chechen Republic — derives from the name of the people. A certain number of Nogais also live in Karachay-Cherkessia and in Astrakhan Region. According to the 2021 census of Russia, the Nogai language is spoken by over 109,000 people.
