2nd-edition-of-the-bible-in-the-tuvan-language

Fourteen years after the initial publication of the Holy Bible in the Tuvan language of south Siberia, IBT has printed a corrected and updated 2nd edition. The first-ever translation of the Bible into Tuvan was originally published in 2011 with the stamp of approval of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Work on this translation lasted 21 years with the participation of well-known Tuvan writers Nikolai Kuular, Maria Kuzhuget, Eduard Mizhit and others.

The Institute for Bible Translation has published a reprint of the Hexapsalmоs (Six Liturgical Psalms) in the Yakut language at the request of Archbishop Roman of Yakutsk and Lensk. The Hexapsalmоs consists of the six psalms (3, 37, 62, 87, 102, 142, according to the psalm numbering in the Septuagint, the ancient Greek translation of the Old Testament) that are read in the Orthodox Church at every Matins service throughout the year.
